((HUGS)).........and I do understand "heath issues" - don't have them myself, but husband does, and just learned that a very nice lady in the neighborhood has Lou Gehrig's disease - it came on suddenly and is devastating her, both physicially and in her usually outgoing spirit. I've been sitting with her for short periods of time to give her husband a break or time for HIM to see HIS docs. It is at times like these that I become more truly aware of the good things that God has given me.....
Carolyn Sloan said… and yes, I did get to your shop - I do love your glass work and music chimes, and will be anxious to see more of your knitting designs. I do a lot with sewing/emb machines, but it seems lately that I have turned more towards knitting - I think it is because the machines have been in their hospitals A LOT lately, and when that happens, I get uncomfortable with them and feel they are not going to be 150% reliable. I, on the other hand, know that it's only me and the knitting needles (and I know I'm reliable!)

Carolyn Sloan said… Oh My Goodness! We are practically neighbors! Well, not close neighbors, but yes, I am in H'ville, about 20 mi W of Lake Lure (I was a Realtor, and tried to keep track of distances between points - particularly of interesting places...) Sooooo, here's the deal....
Barbra Buttons (Greer, SC), Rebecca Raige - Raige Creations - (Weaverville, NC), Teresa Riley - POPembroidery - (Asheville, NC) Carolyn Mitchell - Just My Imagination - (Mills River, NC) and myself - are the self-named "Lunch Bunch" and have met a couple of times at Fatz Restaurant here in H'ville for lunch and fellowship, networking and so much fun! I'm not certain of the next meeting, Barb and I have mentioned it casually, without a calendar at hand, but we should do this again, fairly soon before cold weather and Holiday festivities set in and I am hoping that you could join us? It was so exciting to sit down and meet the first time, as we all had exchanged notes/messages/kudos for many months........and it worked beautifully - enough that we all wanted to do it again, and that was the general consensus when we departed each others company the last time.
Carolyn Sloan said… Thanks, Jean - I see that you are from Union Mills, NC - without checkin' the Atlas, I'm not familiar - how far away from Hendersonville, do you know?
My computer is being awfully fussy today, and I've not been able to go from THIS site to your shop.....so I'll have to take the long way around......see you there!
