I am confused somehow by the 800 px limit...For instance, I have one image that is 800 px it says, but at 72 resolution.Another one is 800 px, but at 300 resolution. The first one obviously, appears larger. This is causing me some grief as I am not sure how to calculate easily how big the image should be.See More

New Products!

Posted on August 25, 2011 at 9:07pm 0 Comments

my supplier allowed me to take pictures of some of his products to show you what I have available.

My favourite is the Bluefaced Leicester. Its a long staple wool that is known for being luxurious and smooth after being spun.

Shetland from the Lock.

In the back of the closet I found a BIG bag of shetland in lock and in the grease. I've begun scouring it with intentions of spinning it. As I've never spun from the lock en masse, it will be intresting how it turns out.

Welcome to the shop.

Posted the last of my Ready to Ship skeins. one last one drying now! Quite exciting.  For some reason when I looked at the Corriedale drying, I went 'darn, that's sexy yarn'. Heh.

Very month I intend to post a few new items as old ones are sold, as well as find out what people want me to carry more than other things! I'm pondering more laceweight next time, or maybe some more Worsted. Thoughts?
