I hitchhiked out to NJ 3 weeks before to go to a concert at the race track in Asbury Park. 75 bands, 40,000 people, 3 days. From there we went to Woodstock and ended up staying 2 weeks! Washed dishes, bussed tables, panhandled for money to live on. Slept in roadside parks. Went to New York City and the Fillmore East to see the Allman Bros Band and Janice. Great times, great memories.
