Comment by Emily/ExquisiteStudiosII on October 12, 2011 at 6:47pm: There IS a ton of jewelry online however, once a group is active on a regular basis, the liklihood that THOSE members are seen is tremendously increased. Largely because every member is posting at their favorite "Hot Spots," word travels like wildfire.

One of the biggest concerns I have is whether or not Zibbet, as a site, is getting quality exposure. It's not enough to expect that people even know about it. It's our jobs as members to inform them. Like any other up-and-coming site, Zibbet will have to be planted in people's minds. We can do that. Blogs, FB, Plurk, Twitter, etc. are all fine places to brag-up Zibbet. It may take dedication to the cause, but it really CAN be done. It's something that has to be kept up, not just dabbled at.

Every member will benefit from gaining exposure for the site. No matter what the medium, quality exposure is key. If there is this defeatist attitude, that's where the ball gets dropped. It's a committment. Just like you commit to populating your shop, you have to commit to promoting BOTH your shop AND the site(s) at which you are a member.

As Zibbet grows, hopefully more people will find our stores. I am doing a lot of work on facebook and other places to try to drive sales to my shop. I'll keep you guys posted.
