~Getting Out There~ Series on my blog
So I found this site with a list of "50 sites to promote your website", and at first I was all like, 'yea, sure, a bunch of sites that just collect your data but don't do anything with it'.... but as I skimmed it (skipping over MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and other well-known self-promo sites), I came across some sites that actually seemed worth my time, as an artist and crafter and small-business.
Originally, I was simply going to share these links on my FB business page, but quickly realized that I had a lot more to say than would fit in the 'comment' section of each posting... So I've decided to post them once a week to my blog, so that I can give each site a thorough description as well as my take on how this site will help us out, as crafters and artists.
The first in the series is already up, and it appears I will be posting new ones each Saturday morning....

I have to say that I was somewhat relieved with the advice to "leave FB (and other social media) out of it". For some reason, I just can't get myself to get onto FB. Thank you for sharing!
