Amazon Payments is not currently scheduled for inclusion in the new upcoming checkout options. If you would like it as one of the new options at Zibbet please comment on the link below and "vote" on the idea (you have to sign in first). http://feedback.zibbet.com/forums/109893-ideas/suggestions/1709431-...

Queen City Emporium posted in 1000Markets forums looking for vendors.  If you are involved, you may want to see this.

This is what I was told at the meeting about using Pay Pal at shows. One can bill a person through Pay Pal and they can pay with their Pay Pal account or with a credit card. I already knew that - here's the glitch. The buyer has to log on to their account right away [with your computer at the show] and make the payment, OR you can trust them to pay when they get home, [take their name & phone # ] I would only do that if I already knew the person, so it's not a real great alternative for me. I also do not want people using my computer which is in my office [I don't have a laptop] during my studio tour. My office is not open to the public during the tour.

Last year I had no problem, everyone paid with cash or checks; I hope this year is that easy too.

I process credit cards using the old manual "swipe" machine for $9.00/mo. I can put my acct. on hold for 5 mos. also but haven't tried that yet. I can either call at time of purchase for authorization or do a "batch" processing at end of day or next day w/o authorization. Trying to call at a show just doesn't work for me so I do the batch processing. I do have the customer give me all the pertinent data via my form and get the code from back of credit card. Haven't had any problems yet on not getting prior authorizations.

But I would love to use PayPal also!

Well I don't have a 'smart phone' but do have unlimited data/web/messaging on the phone so and has a keyboards Is the Sharp'sFX model. But any phone will do for calling in to charge a credit card...They do have a special number you call and I would make a copy of instructions with you if you go this route for calling in a credit card. But basically once you call and get to where you need to be you just then put the number in when prompt. Pretty simple.

Me too! I'm doing a show next month.....and I don't have a credit card machine, etc......so I would love to know what is the best way to process credit card transactions while at a show.
