I am usually a pretty positive person but these past few days have been terrible!  No time to create, piles and piles of grading... I feel so incredibly overwhelmed.  But today took the cake.

I was in Panera today (my normal blogging/grading/reading spot) and enjoying a cup of coffee over my blog.  It is the one hour that I can do what I want without any interruption!

So a woman walks by me and drops her coffee cup.  The coffee splashes out, up, and onto my keyboard.  Several of my keys died instantly and I was almost in tears as I desperately tried to sop up the hot coffee off of dear "mac-chan."  (Yes... I name my computers).

But here is what got me:  She looked directly at me and said "Sorry!  I sure hope you have a warranty..." What?!  I couldn't believe my ears.  As I asked for her phone number and name in case of serious damage, she turned around and walked out of the store.

My poor baby is at the computer store right now getting looked over (and I am using my tiny netbook until that is fixed).  I cannot believe the nerve of some people!  I just needed to vent my story somewhere.

Any other Zibbeters having a particularly crappy week that wants to commiserate?  Misery loves company!

Hopefully next week will be a brighter one!

OH NO ! That sucks! I'm so sorry, that is terrible, you should have followed her out to her car and got her
cars tag number ! I hope you have such a wonderful weekend that it makes up for the bad week.

That really sucks! Well, I got cancelled from 2 private nursing assignments this week, one for no discernable reason other than the young man apparently felt uncomfortable with my seeing him naked (his other nurse is male) and the first one of the week because I worked with the Mom many years ago and the husband didn't like anyone around who knows anything about her past life. I'm sure I'll get more assignments, and today's orientation with a one-day per week case went well, Mom was impressed by my skill level.
Oh poor Mac-Chan!!! That's terrible. I am so sorry to hear that.

....and thanks for asking, you can add me to your "crappy week list."

Today marks the 3rd week since my truck blew head gaskets and 3 weeks with no transportation is about as crappy as it gets. I live in the middle of nowhere and cannot walk or ride a bike anywhere to get to the things I need. I feel like a caged animal. : (

No money to get a new engine and no money to buy a used car. And that kind of money is nowhere in sight.
