Sample Box promotion...who's in???

Becky (RWestDesigns) has pitched a great idea & I'm here to pitch it on to all of you. We hope to start a promotion team where we can get our products into the hands of buyers. We need at least 12 more shops committed to sending in sample products and coupons. We'll combine these into sampler boxes priced to cover the shipping and supplies only. Great value for buyers....great advertising for us!

Samples need to be good enough for people to be excited about them! They don't have to be extremely expensive samples...like
the little face scrubbies Kathleen from Slothmuffin sells, or a
little flower brooch, or zipper pulls from a jewelry maker, or
notecards from someone who does them, if they sent in 20 with envelopes
(each box would only get 1 ), candy makers, candle/tart makers, dip
mixes, hot teas that are hand blended....and on & on. Demographics indicate we need things that are of interest to
women and mommies, mostly women
from 25 - 55. (Guess I'm young for my age of 57! LOL!!!)

I've had great success with these promotions on other sites and hope we can wrangle up enough interest here to do the same. We also need a catchy name for our boxes, so put on your thinking caps!

Please let us know asap. We'd like to get this going before the Christmas rush if at all possible. Everything is fluid at the moment, so advice, criticism, and questions are all welcome!

Cindi, it is definitely just for Zibbet shops. There are no hard and fast rules, but remember...you are trying to get the buyer of the sample box to be WOWed by your items enough that they will go to your shop and buy more! It's to your benefit to make your contributions as amazing as possible. Some of us can only do coupons due to time & money constraints. Some have sent in beautiful jewelry samples. Variety is the spice of life, and who knows what the buyer's taste will be? That's what makes it fun. So, put on your thinkin caps and come on over & join the Z team group! If you miss the deadline for the November box, there's always the December one!

The reason I asked about the Zibbet location is b/c my business cards currently have all of my shopping venues listed, however, that can be quickly modified :)

Cindi - check out MOO. I use their mini cards. They always have some fantastic specials going on, you can upload your own photos for the cards, it's very heavy stock, and the turn-around is pretty quick! www.moo.com
