Art Challenge
for the Kids
It's open to your own kids, your grandchildren, niece, nephew or any relative's child and if you have no kids in your family, but have a little neighbor or friend's child who is a budding artist that works, too.
This makes every Zibbeter eligible to enter, unless you live alone on a deserted island without any children and no transportation to go find one.
Medium: Wide open, anything goes: painting, craft of any kind, sewing, sculpture, art made from recycled objects….whatever the child wants to create. Perhaps you will want to teach a child your own craft. The item must be listed for sale in your shop to be entered in the challenge, so let the kids know it has to be for sale.
Age: Five categories, so when you enter you need to state the child's age. The age should also be posted in your listing description.
Categories:
age 6 and under
ages 7, 8, and 9
ages 10, 11, and 12
ages 13, 14 and 15
ages 16, 17 and 18
There will be 5 winners, one from each age category.
The Deadline for this Challenge is January 31, 2012
The winners will be featured in a February Fantastic Five.

uaaaa....right now???? well yes Winter brake starts in 7 days, so a chance to keep the kiddos busy. But is there a closing date?

No closing date as of yet. Same as the last challenge. We'll see how many entries we get and if we feel we need to let the Challenge go on longer. Kids need time to get motivated and stuff. Can't just snap our fingers at them to produce something. : )

In San Antonio, Texas the kids start their break on the 21st of Dec. and go back on the 3rd of Jan.

This sounds like fun, but I don't know if I can easily convince Brianna that it will have to be for sale....lol, she's 3 and stubborn most of the time. :-) Anyway, I will try to help her create something for the challenge.... even if we have to make a couple of things, we'll make it work. :-)

Price her art for $10,000,0000.00 and then chances are you won't have to worry about it selling. But if someone does pay that much, well ,I think you could work it out with Brianna. No? : )
