Back to School Sale ~ having one? List URL here :D
Are you going to have a back to school sale?
On August 1st I will be creating a new blog post on my website to promote shops who are having a back to school sale. I had almost 60 shops listed for those who were having a Christmas in July sale. If you would like to take a peek please visit http://www.itsmythingdesigns.com/
If you would like to be added to the list please post your complete shop/s URL & name here once your shop is set up for the sale.
Just to note, I have been looking for tags that are relevant and so far the only one that seems to be popular is "back to school". There are 31 listings with that tag so far. I would like to add one more "BTS". This is short enough to add to your listing title as well.
There are just a few qualifications that need to be met in order to be included on the list...
~You must be having an actual sale of some sort in your store
Examples: free S&H, storewide sale, "section" with discounted items
~You will need to have the conditions of your sale posted clearly on your shop front
Examples: I'm having a storewide back to school sale! Everything 10% OFF / Please see my
Back to School Section for bargains galore / Back to school shoppers ~ Free S&H for the month of August
In order for this to generate sales for everyone I can't be the only one promoting my blog. A few people e-mailed me and said they weren't getting any sales. My question would have to be are you promoting this on your blog, website, FB page, Twitter or anywhere else that you might be and doing it often? Something to think about...a lot of sales come from other sellers so by promoting others you are drawing attention to yourself.
Did you know that people do a lot of on-line, personal shopping once the kids are back in school? It's true. September is also when people start shopping around for Holiday gifts.

OK my friend....talked me into it! I'll continue my 10% off from "Christmas in July" into a BTS sale. It worked for CIJ sales, so let's go for bigger & better next month! Thanks for wrangling this herd into a team!

Hi LeeAnn!
I'm going to use both "BTS" and "back to school" in my tags. Right now if you enter keyword "back to school" in the search box there are 31 items listed. 0 in the BTS because it is new but if we all use it then other sellers will find us. Just a thought :D
